Review: Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

Review: Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

Maple Holistics Background:

The great thing that I love about Maple Holistics is that all of their products are all natural and cruelty-free! Also everything is made right here in the U.S.A (New Jersey to be exact). They offer shampoo and conditions for all different hair types with high quality ingredients. They also offer other beauty products such as facial cleansers, essential oils, sunscreen, face masks and so much more. Honestly, all of their products are reasonably priced.

Maple Holistics offered me (for free) their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo to try out. Their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo is only $8.95 for 8 oz. of product and is cruelty-free, parabens-free, GMO-free, and gluten free! (Yes, all around!)

My Hair Background:

Here is the breakdown on my hair. My hair is thick, long and I have A LOT of it.  My hair is not color treated in anyway (F.Y.I. Maple Holistics products are safe for color treated hair). (Side note: I got blonde streaks once in 2004 because that was the “hot” thing to do back then {rolls eyes} other than that I have not colored my hair.)

I also do not use hot tools that often because I am lazy AF with my hair. I have a really, really dry scalp with dandruff so the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo is perfect match for my hair type.

Review:

I used their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo for two weeks. After my first use my scalp did not itch at all, which is awesome to me. My hair did not feel dry or crunchy either. I saw less dandruff and less hair loss despite my thick hair. The shampoo does have a tea tree odor, but it is not overpowering like some other tea tree shampoos.

I decided to wait to see how long I could go without washing my hair before I would scratch my head off (just kidding, but not really). I lasted 4 days before I HAD to wash my hair again. I got the same result a very less itchy scalp and my hair felt good after washing. (Side note: I used Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Conditioner after the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Shampoo.)

Overall: I give Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo 4.5 out of 5 stars! The only reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is because I do have other scalp shampoos that make my scalp feel a little bit better after washing, but the others are very expensive. Luckily, now I have a cheaper and affective alternative for a Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. If you have a dry scalp and like all natural hair care products that are affordable I would definitely check out Maple Holistics!

I also want to mention they do give out free sample on their website, which I will link below as well as a link to the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo.

*Even though I was given this product for free to try out this review was 100% honest. Always.
